Developing as a Therapist, From the Inside Out
At Somatic Therapy, we intentionally create an environment that fosters meaningful learning and professional growth. We thoughtfully shape the supervision experience around your unique needs, strengths, and growing edges, emphasizing a balance of challenge, connection, and integration.
We believe embodied awareness is foundational to good therapeutic work. Through present-moment processing, somatic interventions, and a nervous system-informed lens, we support both your clinical development and personal growth.

A Different Approach to Supervision
Providing supervision and supporting new therapists' development is central to Jessica's work. With nearly a decade of experience guiding therapists, Jessica offers an open, supportive environment with clear and healthy boundaries, prioritizing your development as you discover and strengthen your own therapeutic voice.
Her approach draws from Interpersonal and Attachment Theories, EMDR, EFT, PACT, Somatic Experiencing, and embodied practices.
Embodiment as a Foundation for All Therapists
While Somatic Experiencing offers a specialized approach to processing and healing trauma, embodiment has much broader applications. Developing interoception, increasing our capacity to be with distress, and strengthening our ability to act with intention are valuable skills for every therapist, regardless of their therapeutic orientation.
You do not need to pursue years of specialized Somatic Experiencing training to benefit from this work. We believe embodied skills and nervous system awareness can enrich virtually any therapeutic approach and strengthen clinical presence.
